yes Krull was apart of those string of films centered around the genre quasi heroic fantasy and sword and sorcery which had an interesting plateau in the 80's  i.e conan, beastmaster, conquest, fire and ice, red sonja, deathstalker, willow etc. However how awesome would it have been working on this film when there was a strong reinforcement of illustrative awe (visual effects) but also an integrity to the story. Yet still it is what it is.
