Just a thought a lot of Glen Erler's masterful use of shadow in his work reminds of the shadow use in Ric Waite's cinematography for the film "Footloose".

One aspect of my own work research is what I call 'conspiracy subculture / psuedo science/ survaelince and ambigous document aesthetics'

The psychoanalyst C.G Jung did work on the social cultural phenomena of UFO's which he elaborated on with his interesting notion of synchronicity.
